My work focuses on exploring the figural and natural through relief printmaking. I enjoy playing with dichotomies: history and the contemporary, hard and soft, masculine and feminine, and human and creature. Semiotics and careful research for each piece allow me to create prints that allude to narrative and personal mythology. My current body of work examines punk subculture, masculinity, youth, and stylistic presentation through large-scale portraiture. My work is an extension of myself: reflective and honest, with the potential to be loud and aggressive.
